Bear Viewing Tours in Katmai National Park, Alaska

Alcohol, Tobacco and Guns

You are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages. With out a doubt, a toast to a fine day of bear viewing can be a great way to end the day. The partaking of spirits will be limited to time on the Kittiwake II and could limit your transfers to shore. We will have a limited amount of a house wine for consumption during dinner. The Master of the vessel will consider the circumstances of each case with the safety of passengers, crew and vessel as top priority and have the final say regarding the consumption of alcohol.

Smoking will be tolerated in designated smoking areas. No smoking inside the vessel or in the shore boats. Secondary smoke and safety will always be considered. Tobacco butts and filters will not be discarded in the wilderness. This is a perfect opportunity for smokers to reduce their intake. Non-smokers make up 95 % of our guests. As for the few smokers we have had in the past they have been more than gracious in their efforts of consideration and have never posed a problem.

Absolutely no firearms of any type are allowed, period.
